All Aviation, but not only Air to Air Photos!

While we’re not always in the air, we are all aviation, but not only air to air photos! With the majority of our site has showcased our extensive air to air photographic experience and style, however here is a small portion of the large body of ground to air coverage. These are so far just from myself (Mark here). Being in the air is definitely our favourite place, we’re both decades into editorial and commercial photography with aviation our biggest focus.

The following images were captured in Australia (Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria), New Zealand, and in the United States. From this quick scan through dozens of shoots and locations, both major airshows and localised bookings, over a decade of fighting the heat of the flightline with lens facing upwards has been shown below. A later dive into Jorgo’s files will add more aviation coverage of Europe, the UK, and the Middle East, both during civilian and military service, just for starters. So, there’s no lack of experience behind us.

The Team

Individually we’ve both been published in more aviation publications and had more aviation work published in mainstream media than would be easy to list. Even within aviation photography there are many diverse needs and we balance our skills in formation photography and media to force multiply our work. Jorgo’s out in the field this week so he’s offline, we’ll update with his shoots soon. Plan is to catch up during the Pacific Airshow.

As Red Thunder Airshow transitioned into Brisbane Airshow, it grew significantly, and I enjoyed being the photographic coordinator in both major events and photographed a lion share of the marketing campaigns.

Below the gallery needs to be clicked through, as the thumbnails crop significantly. Take your time, and enjoy the show. I saved the most famous for last. Nothing quite matches a C-17 ‘Moose’ loose among the Brisbane skyscrapers.

Please fasten your seatbelts and return your tray table to its full upright and locked position.

You made it through the full gallery, thanks for staying!

There’s more!

Stay with us. If you’re keen to see some more of our air to air, try Jorgo’s video of his flight with the US Navy Blue Angels or remind us to make use of our Instagram by following us there

cheers,
Mark & Jorgo
